exchanger inside, one HE is for hot water, one HE is for fan coil
water system, one HE is for source side. The heat pump has five
working mode, heating, cooling, hot water, cooling+hot water,
HE is heat exchanger.
How does an air source heat pump system work?
Air source heat pumps work in very similar way to a refrigerator, but instead of extracting heat from the
inside(like a fridge does), it takes heat from the outside and uses that to heat your home.
The heat pumps can extract heat from the air outside in temperatures as low as -25 Celcius
There are two types of air source heat pumps: air-to-air and air-to-water.
An air-to-water system extracts the heat and uses that heat for ‘wet-based’ heating arrangements, such as an underfloor circuit or radiators. Air-to water systems work most efficiently with underfloor arrangements as the system works
at lower flow temperatures than conventional boilers.
An air-to-air system works more like an air conditioning unit in that it extracts the heat from outside
and distributes this heat from a ventilation unit.
